Removal - Nail Glue
Here's a few tips before you get started:
- Go through all the instructions prior to starting removal to get a better understanding of what needs to be done.
- Be patient! Removal takes time, and not forcing the removal will help keep your natural nail health.
Fill a bowl with relatively hot tap water (as hot as you can handle). Add in a drizzle of dish soap and oil (any type of cooking oil should work). Have a towel ready!
Soak your hand in the bowl for approximately 5 minutes to start off.
After the initial 5 minutes, use the wooden stick to begin prying the false nail off from around the cuticle and surrounding edges. Do not use too much force as this can damage your natural nail!
Once each nail has some form of ‘air pockets’ underneath, resume soaking.
After every couple of minutes, continue using the wooden stick in swiping motions to gradually loosen the glue from the nail bed.
Continue re-soaking and gradually pushing off the false nail until it pops off without any pressure.
The nail should come off relatively clean from the nail bed, but will most likely have glue residue on the false nail which will need to be buffed off as much as possible to reuse.
Once all nails are removed, dry your hands and buff off any residual glue with the buffer if needed.
Use cuticle oil and rub on your nail bed and your cuticles.
And that's it! Continue applying cuticle oil and/or hand cream each day to keep your nails and hands healthy and hydrated.
Pro tip!
Using the sanding end of the wooden stick, buff off as much glue residue on your nail set as possible to create a relatively flat, even surface for your next reuse (-‿◦) Remember to dust off the nails and pop them back in the storage case provided!
